Kelly Osbourne smashed her head open while partying in a nightclub and the incident meant that she had to spend two nights in a hospital with mother Sharon at her bedside.
While on The Talk, 59-year-old Sharon revealed that Kelly managed to split her head open and get concussion while dirty dancing with a guy.
Talking on the CBS programme, Sharon said: "The guy takes her down to dip, and as he dips her down, she hits her head on amplifier."
She also added: "It split her head open."
The former Dancing With The Stars contestant tweeted about the incident but said that her mother would explain what happened while on the show.
Tweeting at the weekend, the 27-year-old wrote: "Long story short I cracked my head open then kept passing out. I have the all clear [and] my mum [Sharon Osbourne] came to get me."
Kelly was rushed to hospital from her hotel after fainting a number of times. She was given stitches and told that she had concussion and now she's recovering in Los Angeles.
The incident was a family affair, as Kelly made sure her mother was near while she was being treated in the Miami hospital.
"OMG what a weekend I had, spent 2 nights sleeping in a hospital in Miami with @MissyKellyO!" Sharon tweeted.
