Despite reports suggesting that Hugh Grant's daughter had been named as Jessica, new reports have revealed that the baby, who was born in September, has actually been given a traditional chinese name, translating into Happy Accident.
Referring to the news of the name of Hugh's daughter, who he had with chinese actress Tinglan Hong, ShowbizSpy reports Tinglan's ex boyfriend revealing that the actress has also given her new born daughter an unusal nickname.
He said: "She told me when Hugh is in the country, he comes to see ‘Bamboo’.”
The businessman, who dated the chinese actress for 18 months added that she is upset with how Hugh left her.
He added: "I think she will be quite sad at the momen. She was looking for stability and children and in a way she’s got it. But it doesn’t look like she has someone standing by her."
