Jennifer Lopez has admitted that she once sacked a manager for negative remarks about her weight.
The singer and American Idol judge added that she now only works with people who "know better" than to criticise.
Speaking to Glamour, she said: "I was just so infuriated taht someobody said you couldn't have a little extra meat on you - because I was by no means fat!
"That was so mean and closed-minded. I was like 'No, this is who I am and this is the type of woman that I grew up with and it's beautiful. There's no reason to be anybody but myself."
The 'On The Floor' singer, who is currently filming for the new season of Idol, added that, though she is happy with her figure, she's open to having work done in the future.
"I'd like to think I'll just feel great about myself and age gracefully," she said. "But then I think, 'Well what if I do want a little bit of something?'
"I'm open to being open. I'm not going to make a judgement on it because I don't have to yet."
