Robert Pattinson has said that he only looks himself up on the internet after he's made a dumb comment in an interview.
The 25-year-old admits that he tries not to Google himself too much, as much of what's written is less than flattering, but if he's said something particularly silly he'll allow himself a sneaky browse.
He told Look magazine: "Sometimes [I Google myself], but mainly for promotional purposes. Or if I think I’ve said something stupid, I check to see what the backlash is about. It’s mostly just damage control all the time."
Despite many of the negative aspects of fame experienced by the 'Twilight' star, R-Pattz knows that he's in a privileged position, saying: "I’m living a life that I didn’t really know existed and I can kind of delay being an adult for a while. It’s fun. I get to meet really interesting people and it’s nice to work with people who think they are making something great.
When asked about the upcoming 'Breaking Dawn', Pattinson said: "The honeymoon that we shot in Brazil, that was amazing", before adding, in a way that would probably not please co-star and girlfriend Kristen Stewart, "And it’s great being surrounded by hot girls all the time. It’s the best thing ever. It’s why I became an actor!"
Looks like Pattinson's going to be checking Google tonight!
'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1' is released on November 11.
