Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles is losing listeners from his morning breakfast show.
The station itself hit its highest ever audience in the third quarter of 2011, but Moyles' broadcasts have been steadily declining in the ratings as more and more people switch over to Chris Evans on Radio 2.
In the three months leading up to September 18th, Moyles was entertaining 7.16 million people every week - a small increase on the 7.10 million from the same period last year, but a downfall on the 7.44 million from the second quarter of 2011.
In contrast, Chris Evans' rival option rose to 8.86 million from 8.41 million last year and 8.67 million last quarter.
Radio 1's average reach for the whole third quarter of this year was a new high of 11.85 million each week, while Radio 2 topped 14 million for the fourth time since records began.
However, Radio 3 and Radio 4 have both lost listeners, with the former slumping to 2.05 million and the latter dropping to 10.56 million.
Do you listen to Moyles' morning show? Is he losing his touch?
