The BBC have reportedly walked away from talks with Kylie Minogue regarding a judging role on the UK version of The Voice, because her salary demands were too high.
The Aussie popstar, whose sister Dannii worked for four years on The X Factor, allegedly came with a £2.5 million price tag, which show producers have deemed to be too high.
She was originally offered £1 million, but in line with the BBC's 'Delivering Quality First' review, producers are said to be against paying large sums for talent.
An insider told The Mirror that execs "just can't afford" to cough up too much on coaches.
Jessie J is still the only confirmed panel member, but Sir Tom Jones, will.i.am and Charlotte Church have all been rumoured to be in the running to join her.
The show, due to air in 2012, begins with a "blind auditions" round, in which the panel will judge the contestants' voices without setting eyes on them.
