Tower Heist star Eddie Murphy has shared his concerns about hosting the Oscar ceremony in 2012.
The actor, who was chosen by Oscar executives to host the glamourous event, admitted he lacked confidence and fears he might get stage fright.
"I think it's so funny that people think I'm the perfect guy for this. I'm going to be horrendous. I'm going to be the worst host ever," Murphy told The Evening Standard.
"I'm going to be introducing people and looking straight at the camera. And I'm going to wear a powdered sky-blue tuxedo and at the end of the evening, I'm going to urinate on myself in front of a billion people. Just letting you know - the worst host ever."
Eddie Murphy is currently promoting his new film Tower Heist in which he stars alongside Matthew Broderick, Ben Stiller and Casey Affleck and concentrates on a group of hard-working people who find out they have all been victims of the Ponzi Scheme by a Wall Street businessman and plot to rob his penthouse.
The actor also revealed he accepted to host the show because of his Tower Heist director and Oscar producer Brett Ratner.
"I was like, 'You know, if I hosted that show, it would probably get nice little chatter for our movie before the movie came out.' And that's kind of how it happened."
Tower Heist will be released November 4, 2011.
