Amanda Seyfried has praised her new film In Time, assuring fans it will leave them breathless.
The star, who plays Justin Timberlake's on-screen love interest, revealed she enjoyed playing in a science-fiction film and described it as a grounded film despite being set in the future.
"I sure did have a lot of fun with this movie though and I loved having different hair colour," the actress told Hollywood Scoop.
"I didn't have to go home with it, but you know, it's certainly great to change your look every once in a while."
Seyfried added: "The movie is thrilling and it's kind of out of this world. But at the same time it's so grounded in what we're dealing with today as a society, that I feel like it will leave you breathless and remind you of the time that we don't have."
In Time concentrates on a future where nobody lives past the age of 25 and time has become a commodity, allowing the rich to live longer whilst the poor die prematurely.
The actress is also currently working on a new comedy alongside Robert De Niro and Katherine Heigl intitled The Big Wedding, which will tell the story of a divorced couple who fakes being married for a family wedding.
In Time will be released November 1.
