Jennifer Lopez got everyone's tongues wagging when she ran off the stage in floods of tears during her headline set this weekend, and now she's claimed that it was because she saw her mother.
The singer-actress, who recently split up with her husband Marc Anthony, broke down and left the stage and now she has revealed why.
In an interview with Extra Monday night, Lopez said: "I didn't see her the whole time until this one moment, and I was a bit emotional."
Lopez didn't seem to be too emotional ahead of her performance, one onlooker called Maria Menounos, who was with Lopez ahead of the show, told People magazine: "I was watching her in the dress rehearsal and she was just giddy and having so much fun. She seemed really positive and upbeat."
The singer was apparently in the middle of 'Until It Beats No More' when it all became too much.
Defending her decision to have some of her male dancers to dress up as some of her previous lovers, including Ben Affleck, Cris Judd and P Diddy, Lopez said that she "wanted to do a section of the show that talked about love [and] different moments in my life."
