Take That singer Jason Orange reportedly had the hots for Catherine Tate for months before they finally got together, and used to tell his friends that "she's got great legs".
The pair met back in March when Catherine played him in spoof boyband Fake That for Comic Relief.
A source told the Mirror: "Jason seemed very taken by Catherine during filming. She was great fun and really got into the spirit of it. They obviously hit it off."
They didn't see each other after that until they met to encourage David Walliams during his Thames swim, after which they enjoyed an evening togehther watching A Midsummer Night's Dream in Statford-upon-Avon, a play Catherine herself has starred in this year.
A source close to Jason revealed: "It's pretty clear they seem to be friends but nobody really knows how close the pair are. It wouldn't be the strangest love match as they are quite similar in age and both currently single."
Catherine was ambushed by reporters as she took her eight-year-old daughter Erin to school yesterday morning but refused to comment. Similarly, a source close to Take That declared "We don't comment on the band's private lives."
