As the Twilight Saga's new instalment Breaking Dawn is readied for release, Ashley Greene has revealed all about her romance, by shooting down rumours of a feud with Demi Lovato.
The 24-year-old actress was linked to Gerard Butler, 41, last year but Ashley says that the actor is "too old" for her and that their romance never happened.
In the interview with Allure magazine, Ashley said: "He’s extremely attractive, but I think he’s a little too old for me. Don’t print that I called Gerard Butler old, I feel bad."
The Twilight star, who is best known for her role as Alice Cullen, reckons that her fans will know her more for being in her gym clothes than what movie she's starring in because of all the paparazzi that follow her.
Ashley, who dated Joe Jonas shortly after he split up from Demi Lovato, also claimed that she was "really happy" that the singer-actress was on the road to recovery after her stint in rehab earlier this year. She then put to bed rumours that the pair were at war over the Jonas brother.
"She and I never had a problem with each other. But, you know, it doesn't go away.... Jen Aniston still gets asked about Angelina Jolie," she said.
Talking about the controversy that was created when naked pictures of the actress surfaced on the internet in 2009. She admitted that fame has its ups and downs.
"It’s a double-edged sword. It's amazing to be known, and it's great that there is this audience that wants to know about me. But I'm like, 'I'm going to be known for coming out of the gym rather than [for] what film I have coming out.'"
She also said: "One of my family members said to me, "Ashley, everyone does it. You’re just famous.'"
