It has been revealed that Transformers star Shia LaBeouf is currently in talks of joining a romantic comedy.
According to Variety, the star has signed up to play the lead role in A Giant, a rom-com written by Gil Kenan.
The film is set to tell the story of a young woman who falls in love with her brother's 20-foot tall neighbour when she moves home to reconnect with her sibling, with LaBeouf taking on the role of the 'big friendly' giant.
The film has already been described by AngeleFine Productions as "Lars and the Real Girl meets Edward Scissorhands".
Shia LaBeouf is currently finishing production on The Wettest Country in the World alongside Dark Knight Rises star Tom Hardy and Mia Wasikowska (Alice In Wonderland)
A release date for The Wettest Country in the World has not yet been confirmed.
