Can you imagine Wolverine star Hugh Jackman and Twilight star Robert Pattinson sharing a mic for karaoke in Japan? No neither can we - but it happened!
The Real Steel star has revealed that he caught a flight to Japan with R-Pattz, who was promoting the first instalment of the vampire films, and Jackman was in town with film director Baz Luhrmann and the three of them ended up on a night out for karaoke.
Jackman admits that he didn't get to know Pattinson on the flight out but the trio enjoyed the night's antics with the Wolverine star actually getting dressed up as a schoolgirl for his performance.
"We were on our way to Japan and I didn't talk to him at all on the flight," Jackman told MTV News. "He was just this really tall guy with a hood over his head... [but] Baz Luhrmann was also on the flight, and Baz loved karaoke. So we went out to this Japanese karaoke bar, and we brought Rob, and it was so much fun."
Pattinson, who has featured on the Twilight soundtrack is no stranger to music, but Jackman was really impressed by his vocals.
"Man, he's got a voice! A really soulful, very pure, very beautiful voice," he said. "I actually did karaoke with Rob. That’s random, isn’t it? It was so much fun. Man, he’s got a voice. Very soulful."
Even though Jackman dressed up, Pattinson was not that keen and decided to sit that one out.
Can you imagine how much a picture like that would be worth with Pattinson dressed as a schoolgirl?
