Actress Kirsten Dunst has admitted she was 'weirded out' when she watched herself in her new film Melancholia.
The star, who plays a depressed woman in the film, recently revealed she found it hard to watch herself playing the role of Justine in Lars Von Trier's latest project.
During an interview with Flare Magazine, she said: "It was really hard for me to watch because I don't recognise myself in parts of that film. It weirds me out a little bit - like my voice change, this look in my eye. It scared me a little bit."
The actress also spoke about depression, a condition she can relate to after she was treated for the disease in 2008.
"People are embarrassed to talk about it. I would never put anyone down that was in that kind of space," she added.
"I think that most human beings go through some sort of depression in their life. And if they don't, I think that's weird."
Also starring Kiefer Sutherland, Alexander Skarsgard, John Hurt and Stellan Skarsgard, Melancholia is set to look into the lives of two sisters, whose already strained relationship is put to the test when a planet threatens to collide with earth.
Melancholia will be released September 30.
