Dame Helen Mirren has criticised the producers of Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy because of the lack of female roles in the film.
Directed by Tomas Alfredson, Tinker, Tailor Soldier, Spy is an 1970's Cold War thriller concentrating on George Smiley, a secret agent who is pulled out of retirement to help hunt down a soviet mole in MI6's highest echelon.
Helen Mirren recently discussed the espionage film and expressed her disappointment in the film, insisting female characters were ignored in the film.
She told The Times: "How many women were in that? i mean, come on. There weren't any women in the Seventies?"
"The Secret Service always had a huge number of women working for them. And they played major roles in real life. But they were ignored for this film."
Miren will next be seen in John Madden's The Debt alongside Tom Wilkinson and Sam Worthington.
The Debt will be released September 30.
