Eva Longoria has revealed that she is constantly “emotional” because Desperate Housewives will be ending soon.
The series, which has made Eva's character Gabrielle Solis a household name, will stop documenting the lives of the ladies on Wysteria Lane once the ninth season has ended.
Asked by Access Hollywood, how she'll feel when the series ends, the actress replied: “I can't – you're going to make me cry already.
“I can’t even think about it. I mean, every episode that we’re shooting now is a little sad, because we’re like, ‘Oh, another scene of all of us in the woods, another scene of all of us playing poker.’ It’s all emotional - every episode is emotional for all of us.”
Revealing that the early episodes were her favourite, Eva continued: “My favourite moment will always be the pilot, the first episode. And kind of that time, too, because it was such madness.
"We always have fond memories of that time, and I remember Helen Hunt telling me, ‘There’s nothing like the birth of a hit, so remember every moment … It’s rare, you know, and we kind of hit the lottery, so it’s bittersweet to me to be here and say goodbye.”
Are you sad that Desperate Housewives will be ending?
