Taylor Lautner has said the last day of shooting The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn with co-stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart was quite emotional as they'd become so close.
The 19-year-old, who plays werewolf Jacob Black in the vampire series, has revealed he has been having a hard time letting go of the franchise. After becoming close friends with his co-stars, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, the actor also admitted he was finding the separation hard.
"Whenever we would finish filming any of the other movies, we would be bummed, but we would know that it was just a matter of a few months before we would be back filming another one," he told Collider.
"So when we wrapped these last two, it was tough for us because we had been playing these characters for so long and spending so much time together for so long."
The Abduction star added: "It was a little emotional. But I mean the good news is, we will be able to promote them together for the next year and a half."
It would seem that spending his last shooting on set by himself did not help poor Lautner.
"My last day of shooting, I was by myself, so that was kind of sad," Lautner said. "But, my second to last day, I did a scene with me, Rob (Pattinson) and Kristen (Stewart)."
Directed by Bill Condon, the last two installments of the franchise will be putting an end to the vampire saga and is set to concentrate on the marriage of Edward Cullen and Bella Swann.
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 will be released November 18.
