Hugh Grant has signed up for his first film role in two years to star alonside Halle Berry, Jim Sturgess, Tom Hanks and Susan Sarandon.
While we wait for more news on the third Bridget Jones outing, the British rom-com regular has landed a role in the forthcoming adaptation of David Mitchell's popular novel Cloud Atlas, reports Entertainment Weekly.
Warner Bros describe the project as "an epic story of humankind in which the actions and consequences of our lives impact one another throughout the past, present and future as one soul is shaped from a murderer into a savior and a single act of kindness ripples out for centuries to inspire a revolution." Epic!
Hugh is also slated to lend his voice to a new animation called The Pirates! Band Of Misfits.
The actor has recently been in the public eye as a campaigner against the alleged phone hacking by News Of The World, and was last seen on screen in the poorly-recieved 2009 comedy Did You Hear About The Morgans? alongside Sarah Jessica Parker.
