After a seven year break, Carrie Bradshaw and co are back, following reports that the plans for a Sex And The City prequel have got the green light!
The SATC prequel, which will focus on Carrie Bradshaw's life before she moved to New York, will hit our TV screens next year, according to reports.
Despite having played Carrie Bradshaw in the TV programmes and movies, it is thought that Sarah Jessica Parker will not be reprising her role as the NYC writer.
The actress said: "There's not a TV series that I'm part of. No film either - not for the near future. And it doesn't feel sad."
Director Patrick King will also not be involved with the new show, telling Entertainment Weekly: "My Carrie Bradshaw started at 33, and I took her to 43. For me, the idea of going backwards and making her less evolved ... is something that I don't even imagine doing."
Are you glad that SATC is coming back?
