Tinie Tempah has spent £24,000 on a pair of limited edition Nikes, based on the ones featured in Back To The Future II. The rapper managed to bag the very first pair in production at a charity auction in Los Angeles.
Only 1,500 pairs are being made by the company, with 150 pairs being auctioned off daily on ebay. All the money raise from the selling of these special trainers, will be donated by Nike to the Michael J. Fox Foundation, which is for Parkinson’s disease research.
Michael J. Fox shot to fame in the role of Marty McFly in the Back To The Future trilogy, a film which explored time-travel and all things great!
So far, the highest bid we have seen has been for a massive for $75,000… perhaps Tinie actually bagged himself a bargain!
