Leona Lewis has insisted she has no problem with critics labelling her “boring”.
The multi-million-selling singer told Rollercoaster magazine that she has grown tougher since her rise to international stardom, and doesn’t take the comments on board.
"I've read it, especially from one journalist who has never met me. But it doesn't bother me. I'd rather be seen like that than a harsh, brash person. If my friends said that, then I'd have something to worry about."
The songstress has just released ‘Collide’, the first single to be taken from her third album Glassheart, and the song is comfortably on course to become her eighth Top Five single this weekend.
Looking back on the start of her career, she added: "I've grown as a performer, as a singer, everything. I was in that weird teenage-adult stage for a long time - making decisions that perhaps weren't right - but I've realised in the last couple of years that I know myself so much more."
