Sarah Jessica Parker has spoken out in support of working mothers like the one she plays in her new movie.
Speaking to This Morning, the actress said she is lucky to be able to schedule her workload around raising her family.
“I know that there are women that are working not because they want to, but because they have to, and sometimes more than one job!” she said. “And I’m far more in awe of how they manage to do it all than myself, because I think I have the liberty to pick and choose when I can work, and I have the kind of support I need. A lot of working mothers don’t have that.”
SJP is currently promoting 'I Don't Know How She Does It', a comedy about a financial executive and main breadwinner of a chaotic family. Greg Kinnear, Kelsey Grammer, Pierce Brosnan and Gossip Girl's Jessica Szohr also star.
Parker also revealed how her children keep her healthy – by insisting on being carried at the same time. “They’re like 25 pounds now, each” she noted.
We don't envy her that task...
