After rumours began to circulate that Jada Pinkett Smith and husband of 13 years Will Smith had split up, it was definitely a shock that rocked Hollywood but the stars have since denied the reports and the actress has claimed that she's grateful for her supportive husband.
The 'Hawthorne' actress was romantically linked to her co-star Marc Anthony, but this again was strongly denied.
With husband Will, Jada has two children, 13-year-old Jaden and 10-year-old Willow.
In a recent interview with Bang Showbiz, Jada revealed that she raising them on her own would be her worst nightmare.
"Thank goodness they have a father and I don't have to raise them alone. Having been raised by a single mother I'm very clear on what the difficulties of being raised by a single mother are."
She also added: "It's very hard when you don't have a male component in the home to create balance and help in the decision-making. Sometimes it's nice to be able to just pass the ball, like, 'Tag, you're it, you got this one'."
But Jada admits that she has a massive amount of respect for single parents and says that despite her absent father, she still had a good childhood.
