Beyonce announced that she was pregnant with her husband Jay-Z in spectacular fashion at the MTV Video Music Awards but now it has been revealed that both stars are hoping the new arrival helps to save their marriage.
Earlier this year it had been rumoured that Beyonce's marriage to Jay-Z was on the rocks (hence the year off) but now an insider has revealed that getting ready for the baby has helped them both.
A source told the National Enquirer: “Preparing for the baby has put their marriage back on track after some recent turbulent times.”
The report also claims that during the summer Jay-Z was living the high-life and Beyonce was far from happy. “Jay-Z was spotted partying in the Big Apple with model Selita Ebanks on July 20 and at the club 1Oak with a bevy of beauties on July 8.”
They added: “Beyonce called Jay out on his party-boy behaviour. She told him that as a father-to-be he needed to act like a family man. After a heart-to-heart, Jay-Z committed himself totally to Beyonce and their baby.”
However a source has reportedly told GossipCop.com that their marriage was "never off track".
