With the news that David Hasselhoff has been axed as a judge on Britain's Got Talent, the show's bosses haven't wasted time in finding his replacement.
And according to the Mirror, the lucky celebrity who could be taking his place next to existing judges Amanda Holden and Michael McIntyre is Little Britain star David Walliams.
In a bid to boost ratings, it is thought that the BGT bosses want someone who is "younger, fresher and more exciting" to join the panel.
Of the plans to get David on the panel, a source revealed: "Viewing figures were a little disappointing over the whole of the last series. Producers want a younger, fresher judging panel. Given that the Hoff had a few problems understanding the British accent, Simon thinks it wise to employ a Brit.
David Walliams was approached before but turned it down. But now he’s happily settled, he is keen to explore new work opportunities. And in addition, Simon and he are good friends."
However, David may not be the only new face after the source revealed that bosses may also replace Amanda Holden with the likes of Jessie J or Billie Piper, if she decides to concentrate on motherhood.
The source said: “And if Amanda decides to concentrate on motherhood, Billie Piper would be a fantastic replacement. They’re also looking at up and coming stars like Jessie J, who’d add a youthful element.”
