Jennifer Lopez's future on American Idol has been the topic of many a conversation these past few months. Will she return to judge on the show or will she quit to concentrate on her music and acting career?
Well, now we have an answer because according to the show's executive producer, Nigel Lythgoe, Jen will be returning to her seat on the American Idol judging panel alongside Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler when the show returns for it's eleventh season.
Talking on Ryan Seacrest's KIIIS-FM radio show, Nigel revealed that whilst nothing official has been announced of Jennifer's return, she will be returning.
"I believe we are still waiting for the official announcement but I'm delighted to say all three judges, along with the brilliant host of American Idol (Ryan Seacrest), will be back for the next season."
Taking to Twitter to update his followers and AI fans, host Ryan revealed that the open auditions for the new season of AI has already started and that all three judges will begin filming in the next few weeks.
