Following her tragic death over the weekend, Mark Ronson has paid tribute to Amy Winehouse calling her his "genius sister."
The music producer, who was performing at a gig in Greenwich last night played a medley of Amy's songs including their collaboration of Valerie and Amy's hit Rehab.
In between performing, MTV News reports Mark telling the audience: "She made brilliant music, more than I'll make in my entire life. It's really lovely getting to play some music here for you tonight. That's what makes everything better."
Speaking of Amy's funeral which he attended on Tuesday, the star added: "I went to her service yesterday and there was a rabbi that spoke and he said that somebody's life is measured in deeds and not years and that's the best thing I heard yesterday.
"The genius in that woman and what she shared with us is pretty special. I'm not going to get all morbid on you. It's just nice to be playing music to people who like good music. She is my sister, wherever she is."
We coudn't agree more with Mark! Our thoughts and love go out to Amy's family and friends.
We pay tribute to one the most amazing stars of our time...
