Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver's son Christopher was admitted to hospital following a surfing accident in Malibu on July 17.
The 13-year-old was in intensive care after suffering broken ribs and a collapsed lung but things are looking good and he is expected to make a full recovery.
His parents took toTtwitter to show their thanks and appreciation for the support their son has received.
Arnie said: "I knew Christopher couldn't be stopped! Big thanks to all the doctors, nurses & staff at UCLA that helped him recover."
Shriver also tweeted through her own account: "Blessed to be able to take Christopher out of the hospital last night. What a feeling of relief to know that he's going to be fine. Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers. The whole family, especially Christopher, felt your love.”

His older brother Patrick has been thanking his followers on the social networking site and keeping them informed of his younger brother's progress in hospital. Earlier in the week he posted a picture of himself wearing a t-shirt to support Christopher.
Arnold and Maria have begun divorce proceedings following their separation in May but have pulled thir family together during this difficult time.
