Cheryl Cole has told her ex-husband their reconciliation is over, and is now focusing on her career with the help of Simon Cowell.
The Geordie apparently ditched Ashley Cole by text, following Kerry Meades’ revelation last weekend that she had a fling with Ashley when he was wooing his ex-wife.
A source told the Daily Star that Cheryl sent Ashley a text on the Saturday night when she first heard about the story, but he didn’t even respond until Monday.
By that point, two more women had come forward with stories of recent flings with Ashley.
Rather than trying to convince Cheryl to stay with him and apologising, Ashley apparently said he hasn’t done anything wrong as they weren’t officially together then, and that he didn’t want her back anyway!
So Cheryl has now rekindled her friendship with Simon Cowell and the music mogul is going to help her make it big in the US.
Cheryl has reportedly recorded four songs and Simon is convinced she can crack the States.
There’s even talk of a duet with Rihanna and the possibility of Cheryl supporting her on her US tour.
