Sadly for Chace, getting close to the British beauty was purely for work as they were being filmed in New York for the new season of Gossip Girl that Elizabeth will appear in.
Dressed in a low cut red dress, Elizabeth looked effortlessly glamorous, just like her "sexy, smart, self made media mogul" character Diana Payne.
Speaking of what Liz's character will get up to on the show, executive producers Stephanie Savage and Joshua Safran told TV Line that Liz's character will be "an all-around force to be reckoned with.
"Diana’s entrance on the Upper East Side will change the lives of all our characters - including, and especially Gossip Girl herself. Elizabeth’s sense of humour, intelligence and beauty fit the GG world perfectly. We feel very fortunate to have her."
Tweeting her excitement about joining the cast for her first day of filming, Liz wrote recently: "Reading my script for Gossip Girl, episode 1, season 5. Can't give anything away but it's FAB! Can't wait to shoot it."
