Yesterday we reported on the news that after months of deciding whether or not to return to judge the eleventh season of American Idol, Jennifer Lopez will be taking her place between Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler once more.
With reports suggesting that the i's have been dotted and and the t's have been crossed for her return, we would have thought that Jen would be shouting it from the roof tops!
But alas she isn't, because even yesterday she refused to be drawn into the topic of whether or not the reports of her returning to AI are true.
So, we've decided to come up with a few reasons as to why Jenny from the Block is keeping quiet:
- After reports suggested that Marc Anthony wanted her to quit, the star hasn't worked up the courage to tell him that she's going to return to the show.
- She wants to keep the guessing game going until the very last minute when she makes an uber grand entrance at the start of the new season.
- Having seen Cheryl Cole's new make-over, Jen is too busy having a make-over to look exactly like Chezza!
- Shopping for the outfits she will wear for the new season have yet to all be bought, she can't return to American Idol with no clothes now, can she?
- The star is still working out how she can incorporate all her new songs/performances into the show.
- She's still working with the show's bosses to change the title to: Jennifer Lopez's American Idol.
We joke, of course! But we really wish Jen would confirm whether or not she was coming back, we'd love to see her on the show again!
