Jay-Z and Ashley Cole are reportedly opening a restaurant/nightclub in London together, but it’s not all about turning a profit – they plan to staff it with unemployed youngsters and donate a percentage of the money they make to charity.
It will be named after Jay’s chain of clubs in the US – 40/40 – and will be an upmarket eatery headed up by top chefs. Ashley was spotted in New York this week on his way to a meeting at Jay’s offices.
A source told the Sun: "This is the perfect way for Ashley to improve his image.
"He's aware his football career won't last forever and this is the ideal way to launch into a new area of expertise. He knows that his reputation isn't great and working with charities and disillusioned young people would help."
