We all wondered what the deal was when Megan Fox was fired from the Transformers franchise and now the truth has come out.
Megan was fired from the franchise after she compared director Michael Bay to Hitler in a magazine interview.
The truth was revealed in an excerpt from the new book Blow-Up: An Oral History of the Most Explosive Director of All Time published in GQ.
Megan told Britain's Wonderland magazine that Bay “wants to be like Hitler on his sets, and he is” and it was that comment that led to her firing.
Bay said: “She was in a different world [during rehearsals for Transformers: Dark of the Moon], on her BlackBerry.
“You gotta stay focused.”
He continued: “And you know, the Hitler thing. Steven said, ‘Fire her right now.’”
Her co-star, Shia LaBeouf also waded in, adding: “Criticism is one thing. Then there’s public name-calling, which turns into high school bashing. Which you can’t do.
“She started sh*t-talking our captain.”
Bay admitted: “I wasn’t hurt, because I know that’s just Megan.
“Megan loves to get a response. And she does it in kind of the wrong way.
“I’m sorry, Megan. I’m sorry I made you work twelve hours. I’m sorry that I’m making you show up on time. Movies are not always warm and fuzzy.”
