Kate Middleton Has A New Royal Best Friend

In the shape of her step-mother-in-law...

She may have been without her husband, Prince William by her side but Kate Middleton wasn't without company at The Garter Service at St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle this week.

The Duchess of Cambridge has found herself a new Royal best friend in the form of her step mother-in-law, Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall.

The pair have shared several carriage rides in the past week and have formed a close bond since Kate became William's wife and an official member of the Royal family.

Perhaps Camilla can empathise with Kate on how difficult it can be becoming a member of the family and being in the public eye.

Whatever the reason, the pair seemed to be getting on like a house on fire at the service for the Order of the garter, the oldest and most senior British Order of Chivalry, founded by Edward III in 1348.

Kate and Wills are loved up!
