Whoa, whoa, whoa… Rugby player Gavin Henson has signed up to be the object of desire in the UK version of The Batchelor, which will see 25 women fighting each other in the hope to win over Gavin’s heart…
Channel 5 have said that viewers should be prepared to see: “flirting, bitching and heartfelt emotion.”
According to BBC News Gavin has said: “I'm so excited to have been cast as The Bachelor as I really feel the time is right for me to find a girl to hopefully spend the rest of my life with.”
Gavin, who has two children with ex Charlotte Church, continued: "I've always been dedicated to my rugby and continue to train hard but as the season draws to an end I can focus on meeting the right girl.
He added: "It can be hard in my situation to meet women and The Bachelor will give me the unique opportunity to go on some incredible dates and spend quality time getting to know amazing women from all over the UK."
Gavin and the 25 hopeful gets to flirt and flounce (the girls, not Gavin… we’re sure he isn’t the flouncing type!) somewhere in the sunshine while the show is being filmed… lucky buggers!
