This weekend saw new X Factor USA judge, Nicole Scherzinger return to the UK to perform at the Capital FM Summertime Ball.
Our roving reporter, Sophie Hines got to speak to the former Pussycat Doll about returning to London and landing the most talked about job of the moment!
How are you enjoying the UK?
“I'm so excited to be here!”
You were here before to judge on the X Factor UK, and now you're on the US version...
“Yeah, I just thought it'd be something fun to try and wasn't sure if they'd have me back, so this is wonderful.”
There's a new line-up on the UK version. What would your advice be to the new judges?
“Just to stick to your judgement and be true to yourself with all the points you make. Just have fun with it and speak from your heart. Try to be constructive as well, because these are people's dreams.”
What's is like getting between Simon and Paula?
“I'm not there to be in between them. I'm fascinated watching them, they've been working together for over 10 years. It's an honour for me being part of the panel. As an artist in the industry today I'm able to judge all the acts up there with compassion.”
What are you looking for in the winner of the X Factor USA?
“I'm looking for someone to inspire me. I don't know how to explain what the X Factor is, I think it's just something that you feel and that you see when it happens before you.”
