James Corden will be joining Geri Halliwell and Jonathan Ross in ITV’s new entertainment series The Marriage Ref, which will be hosted by the-God-of-all-things-great, Mr Dermot O’Leary.
In the new show real life couples (i.e. ordinary non-celeb folk) will share their martial issues and arguments to a panel of celebrities and a studio audience. If that doesn’t sound funny enough, then consider the inclusion of hilarious comedians Alan Carr, Jimmy Carr, Sarah Millican and Micky Flanagan. It’s going to be a hoot!
Claire Zolkwer, ITV's commissioning editor for comedy and entertainment (what a long title) said: “We are absolutely delighted to have so many great celebrities and comedians on our panel.
"Each week there will be three people commenting on the disputes, with Dermot as host. The panellists we've chosen are certainly not backward in coming forward, so there's bound to be some lively debates on subjects we can all relate to.”
Topic’s, in the seven part series, include a man who loves his cat more than his partner and a wife who would quite like her husband to give up his hobby of skateboarding.
If you can raise one of your partner’s flaws to a panel of judges in the hope that they’d be banned from doing it ever again which would you pick? Remember, we said ONE!
