Hmm, we have a feeling that The Apprentice reject, Edward Hunter is trying to make out that he doesn't care that his dreams of going into business with Lord Alan Sugar are well and truly over, by saying that he isn't intimidated by the business mogul.

Following his exit from the show last night , the accountant, who is now unemployed after quitting his job to appear in the reality business show, said that he had the potential to make Lord Sugar "millions."

Talking to BANG Showbiz, Edward, who was the first to leave, stated: "I don't think he knew what to make of me – I would have made him millions with my product, so it's his loss. He's not intimidating at all, I wasn't scared of Lord Sugar! Facing him in the boardroom wasn't an intimidating experience."

Speaking about his behaviour on last night's show, which included his 'roll with the punches' catchphrase and 'do now think later attitude' that resulted in Lord Sugar firing him (read what happened here), the business man insisted that he was just "acting" and playing up to the cameras.

"That was just all a bit of drama, it was put on really. That's what they want when they take you on the show though isn't it? You couldn't pay for that look I gave him – it was great acting. They wanted drama, and that's what I gave them."

Or, Edward could just be really embarrassed that he was the first one to be fired...

The Apprentice winners: Where are they now?...

Tim Campbell - Tim won the first ever series of the Apprentice in 2005 but after working under Lord Sugar for a number of years, Tim left and has now set up his own business. A social enterprise called the Bright Ideas Trust, which encourages young entrepreneurs from disadvantaged backgrounds to set up their own businesses.
