With the seventh series of The Apprentice due to start in less than a week, Lord Alan Sugar has blasted critics of the show, revealing that he is "sickened" by the things they say.
Talking in an interview with The Radio Times, the business mogul, who has fronted the business reality show since it started, said: "We have to accept that in order to produce a programme that is interesting, there has to be a certain amount of drama.
"What really sickens me is when journalists talk to other leaders in the industry and ask them, 'Do you ever watch The Apprentice'... and they say 'It's rubbish. If I did things like this I’d be fired! It's not real business, blah blah blah.'
"I’m not an actor, that’s the way I do business. If you look into my companies you will find people who have worked for me for years."
The format of the popular BBC One series, which features an actress who loves soaps, a business psychologist and a former cycling champion, has also had a makeover, with the prize no longer being a job offer. Instead the winner of The Apprentice will go into business with Lord Sugar who will invest £250,000 into their business.
And with the stakes much higher, it looks as though Lord Sugar won't be taking any bull-poop from anyone...
Telling the candidates: "I'm going to inject £250,000 worth of cash and value into a business, your business, and you're going to run it. I'm not Saint Alan, the patron saint of bloody losers, you can look at it as a bit of an uncivil partnership, so to speak."
Meet this year's hopefuls!
