Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz only announced they were calling time on their marriage at the beginning of February but are thy having a change of heart?
Since the announcement the couple have been seen on several trips out together with their son Bronx but a recent sighing seems to suggest they could be reconciling.
According to People, the couple were spotted taking Bronx to the Beverley Glen Mall in Los Angeles where they stopped for coffee and seemed to be holding hands.
An onlooker said: "Ashlee and Pete held hands, and Pete especially looked very happy. While waiting for their drinks, Pete had his arm around Ashlee and they definitely looked like a couple again."
They added: "Ashlee kept smiling and lovingly leaned on Pete."
However, before fans of the couple get too excited, a source said that the sighting was not a sign that their marriage is back on track.
"This is not a sign that they are getting back together.
"They both care about each other tremendously. They both love Bronx very much, and Ashlee has always called Pete her best friend. They are in the middle of still trying to figure this out."
