Sources close to Gerard have claimed that the actor isn't romancing his Playing The Field co-star, contrary to reports saying he was.
According to ShowbizSpy, the sources revealed: "There is nothing going on between Jess and Gerard but it’s easy to see why some might get that impression. Gerard is charming in the extreme and just about every female he meets is putty in his hands. But he is also a gentleman and supremely professional. This isn’t the first time he’s been linked with a costar and because of his nature it won’t be the last.”
However, if something was to happen between Jessica and Gerard, Jess would have to follow a few of Gerard's dating rules.
“I would want a woman to call me if I hadn’t called her. If I don’t call it’s because I’m busy. But this is why I’m single. But there is also the element that the second you think a girl is maybe not quite as keen, there is a little more interest in the situation. Sometimes, when it’s there right in front of you, it’s not as interesting.”
