Girls! Get ready to rejoice because Renee Zellweger WILL be back to play granny pants wearing Bridget Jones.
According to the Sun, the actress who has played the un-lucky in love british journalist in the previous two films, will be back along with Colin Firth and Hugh Grant.
However, there will be one difference....Bridget won't have the fuller figure that we've gotten used to, instead Bridget will reportedly be a bagof bones in the opening scenes of the movie.
Revealing Renee's relief when she was told that she wouldn't need to pile on weight, a source said: "Renee had no reservations about saying yes once she found out she wouldn't have to get fat.
"She hated having to do that in the last two films."
And It looks as though Colin Firth, who just won an Oscar, isn't letting the success go to his head after the source revealed that the actor couldn't wait to start playing the up-tight Mr Darcy again.
"Colin is really keen on a third film. He thinks it will be a great flick to get his teeth into after all the success with The King's Speech, as it's so different.
"He's getting very excited about the idea of marriage and kids in the script, now all the characters are older."
Speaking about the new Bridget Jones' Diary movie in a recent interview, Colin said: "I think the idea of Mark and Daniel and Bridget in advanced stages of deterioration could be quite fun. We're making a comedy after all."
Although the film is in the early stages, we can't wait to see Renee, Colin and Hugh on screen together again!
