New American Idol judge, Jennifer Lopez believes that her experience as an award winning artist is what makes her a good judge on the hit US reality talent show.
Talking to MTV News about her ability to spot things when she listens tothe hopeful's auditions, J.Lo, who sits on the judging panel with Randy Jackson and Aerosmith's Steve Tyler, revealed: "I love it. Honestly, with all the experience I've had over the years, it's like, what do you do with it?
"Steven, he's been on the scene for 40 years touring. You have so much information, you have so much experience and so many little titbits you don't even realise you have in your mind."
She added: "You see someone perform, and you're in the position to go, 'Hey, you know what? Why don't you think about this? You know what I see? I see this'."
