Ashlee filed for divorce citing “irreconcilable differences” as they reason for the breakdown of the relationship.
A source has revealed to People that the young couple are going their separate ways as they've 'grown apart'.
The source revealed: "It's very amicable. They're on very friendly terms and speaking - it's fine.
"They've just grown apart. They've been growing apart for quite some time. They're both really sad. It's a sad ending to something that was really promising. They're each trying to figure out what this transition is going to be like."
They added that the couple's first priority will remain their two-year-old son: "It's all about Bronx for them. They're fantastic parents - Pete says she's a great mum, and she says he's a great father.
"It's about Bronx's care and well-being and happiness for them."
