Since Tobey Maguire hung up the famous red and blue suit after two sequels, it was time for a new face to take on the role of Peter Parker, A.K.A Spider-Man.
And that person was to be then unknown Andrew Garfield, who has since risen to fame in Never Let Me Go and The Social Network.
The choice was, at the time, controversial but from the look of the first still from the new movie, the right choice was made.
Andrew IS Spider-Man!
