Justin Bieber has spoken out about being the victim of internet bullies.

The teenage pop sensation admits coming across cruel comments about himself online, but refuses to take them (or himself) seriously.

“Everybody goes through bullying,” he said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

“Everybody has, even me. On my YouTube page, there are so many haters. They just say crazy stuff. I’m not mad, I’m 16 and I don’t have chest hair.

"I’m not angry about it at the moment. That will come. People are like, ‘Look at him, he puts helium in his voice before he sings.’ You just have to laugh at yourself. It’s funny.”

The 16-year-old was addressing the recent teen suicides in America stemming from bullying.

Justin also encouraged teenagers to be proactive in supporting anyone they know who is being bullied.
