Demi Lovato’s father has blamed the Disney star’s problems on the “pressures” of Hollywood.
Patrick Lovato has spoken out following the announcement that his daughter has checked into a rehab centre, reportedly for self-harming and an eating disorder.
He told Radar Online: “There are a lot of pressures. That is one of the things I worried about when she signed with Disney.
“It’s just going to happen.”
Demi has been dogged by cutting rumours ever since she was pictured with marks on her arms two years ago, however her publicist denied the claims.
Her rep said she had entered rehab for “emotional and physical issues." We're just glad Demi is seeking help, and wish her a speedy recovery.
