Matt Cardle has reportedly branded rumoured X Factor love interest Katie Waissel a “fame-hungry tw*t” for leaking a fabricated story to the press that they’d slept together.
A couple of weeks ago, an ‘insider’ told a UK tabloid that the pair had fallen into bed after “kissing during a silly game.” (Spin the bottle? How teenage of them!)
Not only does Matt insist this isn’t in the slightest bit true, he has laid into Katie, who he apparently blames for planting the story. (In the interest of balance, she denies this.)
Matt reportedly said: “Katie's a fame hungry tw*t. I can't say any more about it because nothing happened.
“I would never go near her. I'm not speaking to her, I don't have anything to do with her in the house.
“I've made my feelings absolutely clear and if she doesn't get it by now then she's more stupid than I thought.”
And it sounds as if things have gone way beyond the ‘forgive and forget’ stage, at least for Matt.
Asked what Katie could do to make it up to him, The Daily Mail claims he replied: ”The only thing she could do is leave the competition.
“I don't care if she's in or out of it, as long as she's out of my face. I'm concentrating on the competition, not all that sh*t.”
