Justin Bieber says he would own up if he was in a relationship – it’s just that he isn’t right now.

The 16-year-old pop star was rumoured to be dating fellow singer Jasmine Villegas (the opening act on his current tour) after the pair were snapped smooching in the back seat of a car in September.

But Justin insists he’s single – for now anyway!

“I think that whatever happens, happens,” he told Extra. “I’m not afraid to tell the truth.”

This contradicts reports his mother Pattie has banned him from dating.
