Courteney Cox and David Arquette reportedly had an open marriage in the months leading up to their split.
Both have been the subject of affair gossip, with Courteney being linked to her Cougar Town co-star Brian Van Holt.
But insiders say it was less about cheating and more about the couple coming to an ‘understanding’ in their troubled marriage.
“Courteney and Brian were all over each at a wrap party in April and the talk on the set was that it was fine because she and David had an open marriage,” an eyewitness told Radar Online.
The co-stars were also allegedly seen looking close at Malibu's Coral Beach Cantina.
Another source said: “They were drinking beer and having chips and salsa in the back of the outdoor patio. They looked like they were holding hands at the side of their table.”
What with this and Christina Aguilera and her husband Jordan Bratman deciding to go their own separate ways, we’re beside ourselves. Who's next? Robsten?!!
